Pricing For Services

15 Minute Walks/Visits:    $18

30 Minute Walks/Visits:   $24

45 Minute Walks/Visits:   $30

60 Minute Walks/Visits:   $36

Overnight Visit: $90

Overnight Pet Sitting: Our overnight visits are from 8pm to 8am. Any additional visits during the day would be an additional charge based on the above rates

Outside Business Hours: An additional $5 surcharge will be added for all appointments booked outside normal business hours of 9am-5pm Monday – Friday

Holiday Pricing: An additional $10 per visit will be added for all holidays. Holidays include: New Years Eve, New Years Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

 

SCHEDULING TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hours of Operation: We care for pets 365 days a year. Our pet care hours begin at 7:00 a.m. and end at 10:00 p.m. Our office hours are from 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Our office is closed on Sundays. Outside of office hours, we monitor our messages for emergencies with active service orders only. If you have an after hours emergency please call or text 630-492-1345.

Scheduling: All scheduling requests and cancellations must be made through the “My Schedule” tab in the online client portal. Scheduling will not be accepted through call, text message, email, visit notes, or journal replies. Schedule requests and changes made through your pet sitter WILL NOT be accepted or honored. We are available to assist you if you need a walk-through of our software. Please schedule a walk-through by emailing [email protected]

Reservations: We suggest making arrangements several weeks in advance in order to obtain services on the dates you desire. A free in-home “meet and greet” is required prior to reservations for all new clients. We will do our best to assign the same pet sitter every time, but we cannot guarantee availability. All of our care givers are extensively interviewed and trained to guarantee the safety of both you and your pets. If you require additional meet and greets upon scheduling, there will be a $10 fee added to your service bill.

Short Notice Requests: Last minute emergencies and business trips do happen, and we will do our very best to accommodate any last-minute requests. However, we cannot guarantee services without sufficient notice. All short notice requests will incur an additional $10 charge PER VISIT. A short notice request is one that is scheduled for the same day, or after the close of business the previous business day. Our business hours are 8am – 6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am – 2pm Saturday. Our office is closed on Sunday. Please submit your Monday requests no later than 2pm on Saturday to avoid the short notice visit charge.

Pet Sitting Billing Policy: All vacation pet sitting spanning longer than 48 hours must be paid in full in advance of service. Visits will not be reserved or scheduled until payment for the services has been made. 10% of your total reservation cost is nonrefundable if you choose to cancel for any reason or at any time. Wild Things Pet Services is not responsible for any monetary losses you might incur if services are canceled due to lack of payment.

Reservation confirmation: Once your reservation has been completed, Wild Things Pet Services will be contacting you via e-mail to confirm your reservation dates and times. Please review them to confirm accuracy. If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail please directly confirm via e-mail or voice message for your reservation with Wild Things Pet Services.

Visit Times: We offer several conveniently scheduled time blocks to accommodate your busy work schedule and vacation needs. We cannot guarantee that we are going to arrive at a specific time. However, we do guarantee that we will arrive within one hour of the time requested. A note will be added to your requested visit notifying your walker or sitter of the time you prefer. Exceptions will only be made for pets with time-sensitive medical needs.

Dog Walking Cancellations: All weekday dog walking cancellations must be made by 9am on the day of service. Cancellations made after 9am will be charged the full price of the visit. All weekend dog walking cancellations must be made by the end of business the previous day to avoid being charged the full price of the visit.

Non-Holiday Vacation Cancellations: 10% of your total reservation cost is nonrefundable if you choose to cancel for any reason or at any time. Cancellation of vacation pet sitting services with less than 7 days’ notice prior to the start of service will result in you being billed 50% of the total invoice for scheduled pet care. Prepaid services will be refunded 50% of the total invoice.

Holiday Cancellations: 10% of your total reservation cost is nonrefundable if you choose to cancel for any reason or at any time. Cancellation of vacation pet sitting services with less than 14 days’ notice prior to a major holiday (ie: Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and Thanksgiving) will result in you being billed 50% of the total invoice for scheduled pet care. Prepaid services will be refunded 50% of the total invoice.

 

PAYMENT, RETURNED CHECK AND LATE PAYMENT TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Payment: Wild Things Pet Services accepts checks and online bill payments. Please make all checks payable to Wild Things Pet Services and mail them to 6N827 Maple Ave., St. Charles, IL, 60174. Cash payments are not accepted. Clients wishing to pay online will be emailed an invoice with a link to our online bill-pay options.

Dog Walking Billing Policy: Wild Things Pet Services offers weekly, bi-weekly and monthly billing options. The monthly billing option is offered at Wild Things’ discretion and only after 60 days of continuous service. The monthly billing option can be revoked at any time and for any reason. Invoices for clients wishing to pay online will be emailed no later than the Monday following the service period. There is a 14-day grace period for payment, after which your bill will be considered delinquent. Please see below.

Unforeseen Purchases: Wild Things Pet Services will purchase pet food, litter, cleaning supplies or other necessary items that are essential to the health and well-being of your pet while you are absent. We will retain a receipt and the pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items. In addition to item reimbursement there will be a $20 trip fee. Please make sure that all items needed to care for your pet are in full supply prior to the start of service.

Delinquent Payment Policy: There is a 20% late charge fee for all late payments. You will receive a 14-day grace period following the due date for services rendered, after which there will be a 20% per week interest charge on the entire balance. If there is an unpaid balance for over 14 days, Wild Things Pet Services reserves the right to discontinue caring for your pets until balance is paid in full. Balances that remain unpaid for 30 days will be sent to collections.

Returned Check Charges: There is a $30 fee for all returned checks.

 

HOME ACCESS AND SECURITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Keys: Wild Things Pet Services must obtain 2 verified copies of your house key during the initial in-home visit when services are scheduled and care agreements have been signed. Keys will be returned by certified mail within 7 days of the end of your service unless other arrangements have been agreed upon. It is recommended your key remain in your Wild Things Pet Services file for your convenience and for future use of services. There is a $10 key pick-up and $10 key drop-off fee if we need to obtain keys from you for future pet sitting requests. We require a key even if you have provided an access code in the event of a power outage.

Security notifications: Always notify your alarm company, door person and/or gate guards that Wild Things Pet Services will be caring for your pets so that we are allowed access to your home and service goes uninterrupted. If possible provide a gate card, gate remote control, or key fob.

Additional Pet Care Assistance And Other Scheduled Services Not Affiliated With Wild Things Pet Services: Wild Things Pet Services, company owner, agents, assigns, successors and heirs are not liable and are completely indemnified for any and all liability stemming from the act(s) or failure to act of third parties, whether known or unknown, including but not limited to, friends, neighbors, relatives or oter service persons., that shall enter your residence for any purpose while Wild Things Pet Services is caring for your pets.

Privacy Policy: All of your information will be kept private and confidential. Wild Things Pet Services highly respects our clients entrusting us with the care of their home and their loving pets. We do recommend that you inform a trusted neighbor that while you are away, Wild Things Pet Services will be caring for your pets and your home.

 

PET BEHAVIOR AND SAFETY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Aggressive Behaviors: If a pet has a history of biting or other aggressive behavior, Wild Things Pet Services reserves the right to refuse service. Bites must be reported to the local authorities as provided by law. The owner will be liable for the representative’s medical care expenses and damages that result from an animal bite.

Animal Behaviors: Animals behavior can be unpredictable. Wild Things Pet Services does not accept responsibility or liability for animal behavior, normal or otherwise, which result in injury to the client’s animals. Further, if a Wild Things Pet Services provider is harmed or injured by the client’s animals, the client/owner accepts full responsibility for the cost of any necessary medical attention required by either the Wild Things Pet Services Pet Care provider or by the animals. It is expressly understood and agreed that Wild Things Pet Services shall not be held responsible for any damage to Client’s property, or that of others, caused by Client’s pet(s) during the period in which the pets are in the care of Wild Things Pet Services. I also agree that it is my responsibility to notify Wild Things Pet Services of any pet that has ever caused an injury to any human or other pet.

Vaccinations/Immunizations: Wild Things Pet Services requires that all pets have the necessary vaccinations and immunizations before service begins. We may ask to see expiration dates for rabies vaccinations to photograph for our files.

Weather Policy: We strive to create a safe and healthy environment for your pets and our staff. In the event of extreme temperatures or severe and hazardous weather conditions, your Wild Things Pet Services caregiver will be directed to provide a potty break and spend the remainder of the visit playing with your pet indoors. These weather conditions include temperatures exceeding 95 degrees, temperatures below 10 degrees, torrential or freezing rain, hail, and when lightening is present. If your pet has heat or cold sensitivities beyond breed standards, please inform us at the time of your initial consultation.

Inclement Weather: In the event of inclement weather, Wild Things Pet Services has requested the name and phone number of a trusted emergency contact living nearby. If Wild Things Pet Services is physically unable to reach your home due to impassable roads, we will reach out to them immediately. Your pets’ health and well-being are our utmost concern and we will contact you as soon as possible to keep you informed of these events.

Household Emergencies. Please leave the name and number of a trusted maintenance company or a person you can rely on to attend to any household emergencies that may arise during your absence. This includes but is not limited to; leaking pipes, malfunctioning water heaters and heating and air units. Please discuss any continuous household problems during consult.

Fences. Fenced in yards are wonderful playgrounds for our dogs and allow them additional space to exercise and play. However, no fence system is totally secure. Wild Things Pet Services does not accept responsibility or liability for any client’s animals that escape or become lost or injured, fatal or otherwise, when instructed to leave the clients animals in a fenced in area. This includes electronic, wood, metal or any other type of fence. We also reserve the right to refuse yard play if the yard poses a threat to the pets or providers. For example: unsanitary conditions, stagnant water, excess animal waste, unkempt lawn, hazardous trash or items strewn about.

Thermostats. Please leave your thermostat settings within a normal comfortable range (65-75F). If the house temperature is outside of this range, Wild Things Pet Services will adjust the thermostat. This is to ensure the health and comfort of your pets and Wild Things Pet Services staff during our time of service.

 

EMERGENCY PET CARE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Authorization of emergency care: If a pet becomes ill while under the care of Wild Things Pet Services, I authorize the representative of Wild Things Pet Services to transport my pet to my veterinarian (or one who is available) if this is needed in his/her best judgment. I authorize said representative to approve any emergency treatment recommended by the veterinarian (unless otherwise stated in Veterinarian Release Form) and I agree to pay promptly for any charges incurred. I release Wild Things Pet Services from any and all liabilities related to transportation, treatment, and expense.

Reimbursement for emergency care: I agree to reimburse Wild Things Pet Services for any additional fees for tending to emergency or veterinary care as well as any expenses incurred for any other unexpected home, food, or other supply needs. Client also agrees to reimburse Wild Things Pet Services for additional time accrued at the rate of $10 per hour in the case of such an emergency.                                                                           

 

LIABILITY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Claims: Customer expressly waives and relinquishes any and all claims against Wild Things Pet Services, its employees and associates, except those proven to be arising from negligence on the part of Wild Things Pet Services.

Wild Things Pet Services, company owner, agents, assigns, successors and heirs are not liable and are completely indemnified for any and all liability stemming from the act(s) or failure to act of third parties, whether known or unknown, including but not limited to, friends, neighbors, relatives or other service persons., that shall enter your residence for any purpose while Wild Things Pet Services is caring for your pets.
